Tibbar Plasma Technologies, Inc.

Tibbar combines the talents of plasma theorists, plasma experimentalists, engineers, and technicians. Many of our employees are retirees or former employees of Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico. We are currently pursuing a number of avenues related to plasma and fusion research.

We received millions of dollars in funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E) to develop our revolutionary plasma-based technology. Our most recent, radical, and potentially game-changing area of research involves fusion machines, which may lead to smaller devices with higher efficiency due to a new heat engine concept that maintains the plasma distribution function in thermodynamic equilibrium. If your company has a need for such a device, please let us know!

We also have scientists engaged in theoretical research of Tokamak fusion devices, using computations to find methods of controlling magnetohydrodynamic instabilities.

For the past seven years, we have been developing revolutionary plasma-based electrical transformers, funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Research Projects Agency-Energy (ARPA-E). The technology and potential devices we develop will be shown to investors, customers, grant providers and licensees with the goal of bringing new, more efficient products to market.
